From concert performances to music in schools, the Ulster Orchestra strives to bring high quality classical music to all areas and sections of the community in Northern Ireland. As a registered charity we rely on the goodwill of our Friends and supporters.
The Challenge
The fundraising campaign will raise money for the future of the Ulster Orchestra, including its important Education and Outreach programme. We must present the highest quality education work and the strongest artistic programme.
We have set ourselves a number of challenges in the 2007-08 season:
- To increase our audience across all age groups by offering a wide range of music experiences.
- To bring awareness of the orchestra to the widest possible audience by new advertising campaigns.
- To build up funds to finance future touring opportunities so that the Orchestra fulfils its important ambassadorial role for Northern Ireland.
- To provide additional funding to continue to attract the highest caliber of players, conductors and soloists to the Orchestra.
