Trust and Foundation Support
The Ulster Orchestra strives to provide a wide range of education and community outreach projects. The province-wide programme includes schemes such as creative music workshops, Adopt-A-Player, curriculum related music work with schools and colleges, school concerts, pre-concert talks, Young Friends' events, performances in residential homes, hospitals and community centres, cross-arts activities with local youth groups and collaborations with local amateur performing groups.
We could not do many of these education projects without the support and funding we receive from charitable trusts and foundations. Funding from trusts and foundations has been used to fund a variety of the Orchestra's education activities and also many capital projects such as our Elmwood Hall refurbishment, disabled access improvement and purchasing equipment.
Securing funding from trusts and foundations is an ongoing endeavour. If you would like to discuss future funding, please contact the Development Officer at the Ulster Orchestra.
