Musicians on Call
As part of Musicians on Call through the BBC’s Listen Up! initiative, Ulster Orchestra musicians Ruth Bebb (violin/viola) and Chris Blake (piano/horn) gave an hour-long recital at the home of Bill Strahan in Helen’s Bay.
Musicians on Call aims to bring music into the home of music lovers who can no longer attend classical music events, and Mr Strahan was nominated by his daughter Rachel (also pictured) to receive the recital. It was an extremely enjoyable afternoon, with Mr Strahan’s beautiful home the perfect setting for performances of music ranging from Mozart and Schubert to Danny Boy.
