Come and Play
Around ninety amateur musicians joined with the Ulster Orchestra players on Sunday 13 April 2008 for this season’s Come and Play event. Photographs and full story can be seen here.
You too can experience a day in the life of a professional musician!
If you're aged between 10 and 80 something, then why not take part in the next Come & Play on Sunday 5 April 2009 . You can book for 2009 by completing the online booking form. Members of the public are welcome to come down to listen to the final performance.
Come & Play gives people of all ages the opportunity to join the Orchestra for an afternoon rehearsal and a short early evening performance. The instrumental parts are graded to suit your ability but you must be at least Grade 4 standard. Copies of the music will be sent out to participants four weeks before the event. An evening concert with the extended orchestra will be FREE to friends, family and members of the public.
