Chinese New Year

On 20 February 2007, the Ulster Orchestra took part in a concert in the Ulster Hall, Belfast, to mark the Chinese New Year. An absolutely full house listened to Chen Gang and He Zhanhao’s Butterfly-lover’s Concerto performed by violinist Yan Jie with conductor Min Lekang.

It is hoped that the Chinese New Year concert will become an annual fixture for Ulster Orchestra participation.
